"Shadow Work" Archival quality giclee art print

This is a reproduction of my original charcoal drawing. While I was working on this, I had been reading about the concept of “shadow work”. It is about analyzing your “dark side” to deepen self-awareness and promote personal growth. I should also explain that the knife in the image is a nod to Dutch masters paintings. Many of the paintings have a knife perched at the edge of the viewing plane. This was done to add depth, drama and action to the pieces.

Other sizes are available by request. All artwork can be printed up to 16"x 20" as this is the size limitation for the printer. The 1" border can also be reduced, removed or increased upon request. These archival quality giclee prints are custom printed and hand cut in-house using Epson UltraChrome HD archival inks. The paper used is Epson- acid free, 260gsm, bright white, 100% cotton fine art paper.

Art prints are made to order reproductions of original artwork scanned by a high quality Epson scanner at 300dpi or higher. Although slight variance does exist from the original, we do our best to ensure consistency by conducting ink tests to ensure the colors of our prints match the real painting as closely as possible. Please note that the images on your screen may vary slightly in color from the actual print.

Giclee Prints:

What is a giclee print? Simply put, it is a fine art print created using a specialized inkjet printer. The print and color quality are better and have better longevity compared to standard injet prints.

Processing Time:

In order to offer you a variety of sizing and print designs, all of my prints will now be printed or order. Please anticipate a 3-5 day processing time and 1-3 day shipping time.

Suggested Framing:

All print sizes available are standard sizes and come ready to frame.  A simple, contemporary frame will compliment your artwork and create a beautiful statement piece in your home.

Shipping: 

Prints sized: 5"x 7", 8"x10", 11"x 14", 4"x 4", 6"x 6" and 8"x 8"- Will be packaged in a clear cello sleeve, backed with a 4-Ply, acid-free backing board, inside a flat extra-rigid fiberboard photo/document mailer.

Prints sized 16"x 20"- Will be packaged a in a clear cello sleeve, within a 3"x 24" mailing tube. I have found that for larger prints, the mailing tube is a better way to ship in that it prevents the corners of the print from damage during shipping.
